Shinaz celebrates with Tom after they scored the penalty.
Male’, MALDIVES – New Radiant coach Mohamed Shiyaz (Mohan) has praised his winger, Shinaz Hilmy after the superb performance against All Youth Linkage (AYL). He described Shinaz’s performance as well disciplined and professional and deserve a man of the match award.

“Shinaz was superb today. He has been improving his performance match by match. Today he was very professional and very disciplined. He came back to help the defenders and was very good in attacking. For me he deserved to be the man of the match. He is my man of the match tonight”

Mohan also praised the performance of the players.

“It was very important 3 points for us. And we are delighted that we managed to achieve it. After a huge break, there were problems in the combination. Especially after practicing in half pitch, it was difficult for the players to perform in the game”.

Mohan also noted the importance of Ahmed Thoriq (Tom) who joined the club today.

“We have always been telling that we needed a good player for the team and we are glad that he is here. He would control the ball upfront and distribute the ball to the other players. We needed someone like that. His experience and goal scoring record is important for us”.

The two Hungarian players did not play in tonight’s game because they did not get the International Transfer Certificates (ITC).

“We did not get the ITC for the players. But we hope to receive it for the next game”

Meanwhile, Ahmed Athif (Aathee) said that there were some mistakes that could be corrected.

“The goals were scored by some mistakes by the players. I believe we can correct those mistakes and achieve a good result. There were a lot of combination errors as well. We hope to correct those.

“The new players joined four days ago and we did not get time to combine them. Hopefully they would link with the other players for the next games.
