Hey maldives fans. The point i am trying to tell is, that we as south asian nations are far far behind in the world rankings. There is nothing noteworthy we have achieved in the last 20 years. So we should all support our teams to qualify for the world cup. And it is the real goal.Ranking will take care of it's self once this happens!!!!!

Hey Naveen, dont just give wrong FIFA positioning on us, just login to the FIFA website and our position! being the world`s second largest population, aren`t you ashamed of your position in the FIFA when compared to this small Maldives? You`re just above us! Isha Allah we will beat Afghan and beat whatever team comes on the other side. Glory Maldives..........!

HEY ALL NON-MALDIVIAN FANS. Stop calling us with words such as "arrogant", "stupid", blah blah. Yesterday's match was merely a "test" match for us, whereby, the coach employed our B-team (only a few full players were on the pitch) in order to give a chance for everyone and as it wasnt the most important of games. And for the one who said we're at the bottom, LOOK AT FIFA SOCCER RANKING. WE ARE FAR AHEAD THAN ALL NATIONS (except India, who are actually in that place due to history). Wait and see. We will BRING THIS SOCCER GOLD TO US. Mee aharemenge faharu...

Hey Naveed and satish, india! Why are you so against us. I think you guys are afraid and jealous. We accept our team defeat last match of group stage. You know what? Coach has given rest 5 more players of regular starting 11. because we are in semi final. So he wants give chance to new players to gain experience. Insha Allah we will beat Afghanistan in semi final. I think in final we have to face Host Bangladesh again. Insha Allah we will teach a lesson to Bangles.

wise words Satish. I agree with you. Maldivian fans should know how to be humble and not arrogant. Maldives is still at the bottom of FIFA ranking with other South Asian teams. For the Maldivian fan who said "Bangla players can not play football" here is an important piece of information: the biggest margin of score for Bangladesh was Bangladesh 8:0 Maldives in December 21, 1985.

Fantastic news, Bangla boys beat the maldives and brought them done to earth. It's time maldivian fans have a look at themselves seriously in the mirror. I heard one maldive fan comment that bangla does not know to play football, So the team that does not know to play is good enough to beat maldives. LoL
